Assignment 4
1. Are iphones examples of multimedia? Why or why not?
  •  yes because contain sound,imagens,videos,et.



2. Give an example of digital technology. Now give an example of analog technology. Which form of technology is older?

In digital technology, the analog wave is sampled at some interval, and then turned into numbers that are stored in the digital device. On a CD, the sampling rate is 44,000 samples per second. So on a CD, there are 44,000 numbers stored per second of music. To hear the music, the numbers are turned into a voltage wave that approximates the original wave.

3. What is live-action? What is animation? Find an example of each type (live-action, animation) from youtube.com and post the url link(s) here

Explain how the world Wide Web is considered multimedia?
  • the world wide web is considered multimedia because it incorporates different media such as images,sounds,videos etc.

What is the difference between time-based and static-media? Give examples of each.
  • static based,media is the opposite like a single image
  • time based media take up time and resources


When you save or download a video from the Internet, why do you think it takes longer to load than music? Do you think there is a difference in sound between downloaded music or the way music sounds on a CD?
